Product Introduction
Hexagon flange bolts manufactured to DIN 6921, supplied without serration under the head. The integrated circular flange provides an enlarged bearing surface that distributes clamp load and eliminates the need for a separate washer in most applications. Sizes range from M5 to M20, offered across property classes 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9 under ISO 898-1. External drive with standard hexagon wrenching. Surface finishes are selected to meet in-service environmental conditions.

Material & Mechanical Properties
Forged from medium carbon alloy steel and quench-and-tempered to achieve the specified tensile and proof load values. Mechanical certification is traceable to heat number with mill test reports available. Classes 8.8 and 10.9 provide reliable strength for medium- and high-stress joints; class 12.9 delivers ultimate tensile strength above 1200 MPa for static and dynamic loaded connections.

Geometry & Thread Form
The non-serrated flange face allows a smooth bearing surface suitable for painted, coated, or sensitive mating materials where serration marking is unacceptable. The flange diameter is proportioned to the bolt size per DIN 6921 to maintain adequate edge distance and uniform clamping. Coarse metric threads to ISO 724 speed installation and reduce cross-threading risk in steel, cast iron, and aluminum assemblies.

Corrosion Protection
Standard finish is zinc electroplated per ISO 4042/ASTM B633 with optional passivation for increased white rust resistance. For higher corrosivity categories (C3–C5), zinc-nickel, zinc flake, and hot-dip galvanized coatings are available. All protective finishes are specified with consideration to hydrogen embrittlement thresholds of the respective property class.

Application Suitability
Automotive powertrain and chassis components, engine assemblies, pumps, compressors, and general machinery where a compact single-unit flange bolt replaces a bolt-and-washer combination. such as LOGO and pattern of customers.
