Hexagon nut, property class 10, manufactured and CE‑marked to EN 14399‑4 for System HV (Hochfest Vorgespannt) preloaded bolting. The nut is part of a matched assembly that includes a property class 10.9 HV bolt and two through‑hardened washers to EN 14399‑6 (grade HV300). HV‑system nuts are supplied with a black surface treatment — black oxide, plain lubricated, or MoS₂‑treated — and are intended for preloaded structural joints designed to EN 1993‑1‑8. The reduced height and large across‑flats distinguish the HV nut from HR‑system components, and the complete assembly is mandatory from a single manufacturer to maintain CE certification.
